yes - it's called filtrationIs it possible to wash water?
You can filter it.Is it possible to wash water?
I suppose if you froze it into ice, which then got dirty, and then you cleaned it, you'd sorta be washing water. Best I can come up with :)
Otherwise, it is possible to purify water through various means.
if by washing you mean to clean water then yes. water can be cleaned using various chemicals like flourine and chlorine.

Should i use hot water or cold water to wash my face?
What one should i use
that helps prevent spots?
or witch one is most likely to cause them.Should i use hot water or cold water to wash my face?
hot water opens your pores: good for before you wash your face
cold water closes: good for afterShould i use hot water or cold water to wash my face?
If you don't use cold water after washing your face in warm water, the pores don't close back up, and dirt and oils will be able to clog them, causing pimples, blackheads, etc. Rinsing in cold water after washing your face closes the pores and prevents this from happening.

wash your face with warm water. not only does it open the pores, but most fash washes and scrubs have main ingredients that are activated with warm water. then blot. make sure to use a toner or cleanser after! i've recently learned how important this is..
Use hot water before and after you scrub your face, as hot water opens pores and lets you clean them out.
Then use cold water to rinse, as cold water closes pores, and gets less dirt in.
Hot water first to expand your skin pores (this helps get all the dirt out)
Scrub with flannel or other scrubbing thing (soap or other face scrub/wash helps too =D)
Rinse with cold water
Warm water always.
Wash with warm water and blot with a towel to dry.
i use warm and cold water... dont use hot water, its too harsh on the skin!
lukewarm water!
Warm.
Cold just isn't good.
And causes dry skin.
Warm water ALWAYS, then cold water for rinse.
first use hot water, apply soap and than wash your face with cold water
hot water at first before you scrub
then cold water to rinse

Does the temperature of the water I wash my hands with affect dry skin? ?
As in if the water is scorching hot, or perhaps lukewarm, will either increase the dryness of my skin?Does the temperature of the water I wash my hands with affect dry skin? ?
Water temperature should be tepid -- hot water takes more oils away than cool water.
The length of water contact should be short -- no long, hot showers if your skin is dry.
Unless you have mud and grime on you, you really don't have to use soap everywhere on your body.
If you need soap, use one of the recommended soaps for dry skin that contain emollients and actually replace the skin's natural oils.
Using antibacterial gels for hand-washing does not cause the skin to dry out because the alcohol does not bind to the skin's oils
.
When drying off, pat the skin dry with a towel until the skin is not dripping - do not rub the skin vigorously.
Use a good moisturizer on the skin immediately after any contact with water

Is it okay to put clothes that wash in cold water into a laundry machine with warm water?
my mom only washes clothes in a machine with warm water and i have like a couple of clothes that say to wash and cold water. she has a lot to do and says she doesnt have time to do a seperate thing with 2 clothes that need to be washed with cool water. what would washing these clothes in warm water do to them?! would it just be better to wash by hand? thankkksIs it okay to put clothes that wash in cold water into a laundry machine with warm water?
The difference in washing something in cold and warm is that warm water can shrink your clothes. I wash everything in cold. You can also save money by washing it in cold. If your MOM wont wash it in warm. Then why do YOU do your own laundry and wash it in cold your self.Is it okay to put clothes that wash in cold water into a laundry machine with warm water?
When manufactures state you must use cold water then it is adviseable to do so as these fabrics could have high shrinkage and could ruin your clothes, you could add these clothes when the warm water has cooled down enough to tolerable to the fabric closer to cool water but still tepid these types of fabrics could then handle the temperature without severe shrinkage Good Luck !
Just put them in the warm water and hang dry them. :)

Is it okay to use bleach in hot water to wash white pants? will anything happen?
how much bleach and laundry soap?Is it okay to use bleach in hot water to wash white pants? will anything happen?
you could but they might shrink (especially if they have any spandex in them at all) i've made that mistake many times, now i use cold water and i don't dry them, i just hang them up and let them air dry.
(i wouldn't use bleach either, if they have any stains then use spot remover)Is it okay to use bleach in hot water to wash white pants? will anything happen?
Just do it.
1st. Fill washer w/ water then add bleach 1/2 cup add laundry soap.. once it starts agitating add pants.
Use it per directions on the bottle/box, you can buy color fast bleach too.
it is usually alright to use bleach on most whites but some wont take good to it best to check the washing instructions on the label of the item to be washed if there is an x through the bleach sign then dont use
Yes with certain materials after its dry yellow spots will appear
I put my white tank top in the sink with bleach and cold water, let it soak for about an hour, then i just rinse it really well then throw it in the washer with my other cloths!! It is VERY white, and doesn't smell like bleach or soak up any other color!! We have very hard water too-so you would be surprised on how white it is :) lol and I don't measure anything I just take of the top and pour!! Good Luck!! :)
For bleach to work at its best , you should use hot water. If you are going to do a laundry full of whites use the directions for laundry soap and bleach on the packages. if you are washing thenm by themselves, use about one eighth cup of bleach and two tablespoons of laundry liquid in large tub. agitate and let soak for a few minutes then rinse well , you could use a small amount of liquid downey too.
yes nothing will happen ur whites will go back to white
I don't know why it would hurt.
I agree w/ freaky gardener's response, however, most clothing says not to bleach, so you can't really go buy that.
Trial %26amp; error is how I learned.
Also, if you don't want to use hot water or bleach, try warm water %26amp; oxy clean/sun(generic brand); My sister swears by this %26amp; never uses bleach.

Name of a purple chemical used by the French to put in water to wash vegetables like lettuce?
while in Africa I learned that the French medics recommend the use of something that turns the water purple but then is used to purify vegetables before eating. I am looking for the mane of this product.Name of a purple chemical used by the French to put in water to wash vegetables like lettuce?
This is the chemical, it seems to be quite poisonous, I did not know that, we used to purify our vegetables for years with this component that was called Kali or something similar. The real name is Potassium Permanganate:

I don't know the exact product you are referring to, but when I was in Mexico City I had a solution I bought at Wal-Mart that I used to disinfect vegetables. You don't actually use it to wash the vegetables, but instead you soak them in a mixture of this solution and water. As I recall, the solution I bought contained silver as a disinfectant, and it was kind of brown in appearance. It seemed to me that it was kind of a generic brand. So similar solutions are probably available under many brand names. Hopefully it will be available for sale in the area where you need it.
