Shouldn't, all though you can etch brick with a power-washer, so it helps to determine what you need it for...To just clean it up, you don't need anything over 2000 psi, and there are also tips you place at the end of the wand to give you the desired water stream ..00..0..1..2, I suggest you try an out of the way test patch first, even a 2500 psi machine with a 0, or #1 tip should not mark the asphalt at 18 inches...more info if you can...
