I just got done washing down my dad's house,and I smelled the smell you smell after it rains, and now that I am inside of it,I feel all holy and I feel God's presence everywhere.

The bible says that you should worry about removing the splinter from your own eye before worrying of anothers. You are SMELLING rain and it was your housed that got cleansed, not you. To be truly touched by the cleansing water you have to react to the call of God and believe that Jesus died , rose from the dead and cleanses you of all sin. You will find that while Jesus allows you to have ';living and eternal waters'; that it is not water that will wash away your sins, it is the blood of Jesus Christ. You may wash and wash your house everyday but at the end of the day the car will always bring in more dirt and when you walk in side you will bring more dirt. The only way to do this is to make your house wood, protected wood. Only Jesus , who died on a cross stained with blood can cleanse you. Actually, God has handled it for me the past week or so. Of course, God caused some nasty flooding along with it that left people without homes or power and destroyed all our crops so we will all be severely suffering from poverty again this summer, but hey, my house is clean!
Why do you need to cleanse your fathers' house- what horrible sins were committed there???
