Does drinking too much water wash away the minerals and nutrients in your body?

how much water should i have in a day? i know you always get told to have 2-3 litres but now i hear this amount is harmful as it washes away nutrients and minerals in your body.Does drinking too much water wash away the minerals and nutrients in your body?
2-3 litres of water a day is OK as it helps to flush out some of the toxins but too much water is bad as then it ALSO flushes out some of the minerals and other nutrients.





When you perspire profusely as in saunas, besides the toxins coming out of your pores some of the minerals and other nutrients also come out, so sometimes after too long in the sauna or too long in the hot spa tub you get cramps due to a mineral deficiency.Does drinking too much water wash away the minerals and nutrients in your body?
no way! its ridiculous...The human body is anywhere from 55% to 78% water depending on body size.To function properly, the body requires between one and seven liters of water per day to avoid dehydration; the precise amount depends on the level of activity, temperature, humidity, and other factors
Yes, but one does need the water to stay hydrated. I personally experienced this unknowingly- I had an outside job once that I would pack a coleman cooler with ice, topping it off with water, and I would drink on that all day (mind you my diet at the time was not all that healthy) and after about 6 weeks, I did wash all the vitamins and minerals out of my body-and the symptoms wer like having a nervous breakdown for me. My family Doctor had me take a good multi- vitamin (Centrum) 3 times a day for 2 weeks to get me back on track, and went back to feeling normal at that time.

it does't wash nutrients %26amp; minerals,but it helps in circulation of blood. Water is checked at kidneys and passes only waste.
it is never harmful not unless you'll take like 10-15 L of water..Water is actually good for the body..but too much of it is bad.





if you ever drank too much (why would you do that anyway), it would lead to Water Intoxication %26amp; Hyponatremia...But it wont happen if youre having like 2-3 L a day..But dont forget to perspire..that would help too..
lots of water is fine! you should have atleast 8 glasses which is 2 litres but more is better.
