Recycling wash machine water?

Long ago a neighbor would reuse the water from the rinse cycle to wash the next load. Any ideas of how to set this up?Recycling wash machine water?
This used to be quite common. It's called 'suds-saving'. Machines used to come with attachments that would recover the rinse water from the sink where it went after the rinse cycle, back when washers drained into a laundry sink rather than straight into a pipe. I don't know if you can still have a machine do it. Try consulting a washing machine repair place.Recycling wash machine water?
That would involve a holding tank, a septic sump and a lint filter(keeps the works from getting plugged up). A better option (especially if you have a yard/garden) would be a gray water system.
put bucket under hose and use the water in the garden.
