VW golf 4 rear window wash water not coming?

My rear window wash water is not coming out.

I believe that the cable supplying water from the front is interrupted. I don't know where this cable is passing, from the roof? I can hear that the pump is running. Any tips?VW golf 4 rear window wash water not coming?
I had a Toyota Supra and it had a rear wash/wiper. Have you checked to see if it has a rear window wash reservoir like the Supra did? In the Supra's case it was in the trunk. Check it out. it could be in a side panel or even in the trunk. If you have the manual read it, if what you think is true check out the plastic hoses running to your hose nozzle on your windshield wiper for clogs. disconnect it from the pump and where it connects to the windshield wiper and then blow throw it. If it is unblocked you will be able to blow all the liquid out of it. If not take a safety pin and clear out the nozzles in question and reconnect the hose, if that fails you probably have a defective pump. Since you are hearing a sound that is probably the pump trying to pump air not liquid. IMHO you have either a hose leaking or a clogged nozzle at the sprayer. Top up the washer bottle and try again. Some cars have two pumps and the rear one is higher in the bottle. This is so water for the rear stops before the front and makes you top up before you run out entirely.
