How do i wash water-based white emulsion paint out of a heavy cotton bright red top?

I've tried washing it at 50 degrees with loadsa washing powder, still has some left on it.How do i wash water-based white emulsion paint out of a heavy cotton bright red top?
I hate to tell you this, but it's probably too late.

You could try scrubbing it with mineral turps- even though it's water based paint, this has worked for me before, but I'm not sure what that would do for the red dye. maybe test a small bit first. But I'm guessing it's not going to matter much, as this may be your last resort. keep it wet in the meantime-don't let it dry out.How do i wash water-based white emulsion paint out of a heavy cotton bright red top?
The key to getting even water based paint stains is to keep it wet. I'm guessing the little bit remaining is probably where it started to dry. You could try scraping it with a thumbnail, especially if it hasn't been through the dryer yet - the dryer will pretty much set it, but it may still be possible to peel little bits of it off. If you try the chemical route, remember to test a hidden area first so you don't end up with a worse splotch.
