Why do we use warm water to wash our hands and face?

When water from the hot tap is warm enough to make bacteria multiply and not hot enough to kill it?Why do we use warm water to wash our hands and face?
personally, i've heard warm water gets away bacteria and stuff but i like to wash my face and hands. in cold water because cold water closes your poors to make them look smaller. i've also heard cold water is better than warm cause it rinses better.Why do we use warm water to wash our hands and face?
You don't have to use warm water to wash hands and face, cold water is just uncomfortable. You can make an argument saying that heat causes an easier disbursement between soap and water to produce a better lather but that is improbable at warm.
it's the most comfortable temperature, im pretty sure you don't like being splashed with hot or cold water...
