I would soak it over night...DON'T WASH IN HOT! The jacket says warm for a reason, plus hot is what makes a stain set. Drying it or washing it in hot will make the stain stick! Make some paste with your detergent, rub it on there. If you have some spray and wash, us that on there over night. Just spray it a few times. Wash it. Hang dry it. If it didn't come out, try something else. Don't dry it or wash in hot! What happens if I machine wash something in Hot water that was meant to be washed in warm water?
No, hot water will not be good. I did that once and it stained. You can use bleach that is for colored clothes...not regular bleach! And stain remover. Sometimes borax is helpful too!...Good Luck!
More than likely it is because hot water can fade colors faster than warm or cold. It should be fine.
There is a good chance it will shrink, especially if it is wool. Also, you need to watch for colorfastness, hot water may fade the color.
Well I think if it麓s really as dirty as you say the best thing would be to soak it over night , either in your normal washing powder or Bio-Tex, or any other pre-wash powder, Rinse well then put it in your machine at 40c .See if most of the dirt comes out . if not wash on a slightly higher machine wash
No. It's ok to wash it in hot water, so long as it's not an ultra-sensitive fabric (you know those kind that should be dry-cleaned). The problem comes in when you wash in hot water and then throw it in the dryer. As long as you hang dry, the jacket should be fine.
An extra tip: This won't ruin the fabric as it's not enough to do damage, but put a little bit of rubbing alcohol in the cycle if the clothes are really soiled. They come out so much cleaner and fresher smelling.
